报告题目：MEMS  and Nanostructuring of Smart materials for integrated system

个人简介：Dr Richard Fu 是诺桑比亚大学（Northumbria  University）工程与环境系准教授（Reader），英国皇家物理学会（IOP）及美国电气和电子工程师协会(IEEE)等著名国际学术组织会员。Richard Fu  教授于1999 年在新加坡南洋理工大学获得博士学位，1999 年-2007 年以研究员（Research  fellow）身份分别在新加坡南洋理工大学和英国剑桥大学从事研究工作；2007 年获得爱丁堡Heriot-Watt  大学讲师职位、随后晋升为高级讲师（Senior Lecturer  即美国大学体系的Associate  Professor）；2010 年获聘西苏格兰大学薄膜研究中心准教授（Reader）；2015年诺桑比亚大学工程与环境系教授。傅永庆教授在薄膜纳米材料，压电MEMS器件，记忆合金和记忆聚合物，特别是在薄膜表面声波微流体及芯片上的生物实验研究等领域有很高的国际声望。目前已发表SCI期刊论文总数为310篇 (SCI  H-index为37，总引用次数>5500次)。

报告内容：This  talk will focus on MEMS and nanostructuring of smart materials for integrated  sensors, microactuators, microfluidic and lab-on-chip applications. These smart  materials include (1) piezoelectric materials for acoustofluidics and  lab-on-chips with multiple functions such as biosensing, particle/cell  concentrating and sorting, patterning, pumping, mixing, nebulization and  jetting; (2) shape memory alloys and microactuators; nanocomposite shape memory  polymer; (3) nanostructured oxides for sensing and energy  applications.
